The Teen-Youth Journalism Initiative (TYJI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching high school interns how to bring attention to smaller issues around the world.
Our stories tell the stories of people that are not given the spotlight in traditional mass media. From telling the stories of the oppressed Dalits of the Indian Caste System, to the expelled Tigrayans of Ethiopia, TYJI is dedicated to providing attention to underrepresented problems and groups around the world.
